Day 1 — From Greece to the heart of Jordan
Day 1 — From Greece to the Heart of Jordan
Arrival in Amman & Your First Introduction to Jordan
Your journey begins with a direct Royal Jordanian flight to Amman, with no stopovers.
Departure is from Thessaloniki, with the option to join the same organised group from Athens.
Upon arrival, the local Genius Travel team will welcome you and take care of all entry formalities.
You will then be transferred to your hotel, where a welcome dinner awaits.
From this moment on, every detail has been thoughtfully arranged for you.
Day 2 — Roman Heritage & medieval castles
From the City of a 1.000 Columns to the Strongholds of the Crusaders
After breakfast, we depart north of Amman for Jerash one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world.
Passing through the monumental South Gate, an entire Roman city unfolds before you.
The Oval Plaza, the impressive colonnades of the Cardo, the Nymphaeum, the theatres and the Byzantine churches with their intricate mosaics create an extraordinary historical setting.
The remarkable acoustics of the Roman theatre continue to impress, revealing the brilliance of Roman engineering and architecture.
We then continue through the lush green hills to Ajloun.
The imposing Qalat er-Rabad castle, built in the 12th Century, overlooks the region and narrates the era of Salantin and the Crusaders, offering spectacular panoramic views across the Jordan Valley.
Returning to Amman, follows a short city tour, including visits to the Citadel and the Roman Theatre—at the heart of a capital that has been continuously inhabited for thousands of years.

The day's sightseeing is led by a licensed local guide, accompanied throughout by your Greek-speaking tour leader, with a strong emphasis on historical storytelling and an immersive understanding of each destination.
Day 3 — Mosaics, the Bible & Crusader Castles
Sacred Landscapes and Journeys of Faith
Today's journey begins with a visit to Mount Nebo, the place where, according to tradition, Moses first gazed upon the Promised Land.
From here, the views stretching across the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Jericho are absolutely stunning.
We then continue to Madaba, renowned for its extraordinary mosaics.
At St. George's Church, you will admire the famous Madaba Mosaic Map of the Holy Land—one of the most significant surviving masterpieces of early Christian art.
Our route continues to Kerak, once the capital of the biblical Kingdom of Moab.
Perched dramatically on a rocky hilltop, the magnificent Crusader Castle tells stories of conflict, strategy and medieval power.
In the afternoon, we continue south towards Petra, where the day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 — Petra & Little Petra
From the Nabataean City to the Silence of the Desert
This morning is dedicated to Petra — one of the world's most spectacular archaeological sites.
With an early morning entrance, you'll experience the site before the peak visitor hours.
Carved into rose-red sandstone, Petra reveals itself through the Siq Canyon — a dramatic natural gate leading to the iconic treasury Al Khazneh.
As you continue exploring, royal tombs, magnificent façades and the remains of a city that flourished at the crossroads of ancient civilisations unfold before you.
Your visit to Petra includes ample time to explore, complemented by thoughtful guidance that brings the scale, history and significance of this extraordinary site to life.
We then visit Little Petra (Siq Al-Barid), quieter and more intimate Nabataean settlement.
In the afternoon, we leave the rose-red city behind and continue towards Wadi Rum.
The desert unfolds before you with its crimson sands, towering rock formations and profound silence.
Overnight stay in a luxury bubble/Martian-style tent, offering an elevated level of comfort in the otherworldly landscape of the desert.
As the sun begins to set, enjoy a specially curated sunset experience with traditional tea in the desert, before gathering for dinner beneath a sky filled with countless stars.

Day 5 — The Desert of Lawrence of Arabia
Jeep safari in Wadi Rum & Aqaba
The day begins with a two-hour exploration of the desert, aboard specially equipped 4×4 vehicles, following a carefully selected route that includes Khazali Canyon and some of the region's most spectacular geological formations.
Otherworldly landscapes, natural rock arches, ancient inscriptions and petroglyphs dating back thousands of years reveal the enduring significance of this extraordinary desert — known as the «Valley of the Moon».
The safari is led by a local Bedouin driver at a relaxed pace, allowing plenty of opportunities to stop and fully appreciate the breathtaking scenery.
The experience is enriched with stories and insights into the desert, offering a deeper connection to the landscape and the traditional way of life of the Bedouins.
Afterwards, we continue to Aqaba, Jordan's only coastal city on the Red Sea.
Free time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Day 6 — From the Sacred Waters to the Dead Sea
When History Meets Relaxation
We depart from Aqaba and travel to Bethany Beyond the Jordan (Al-Maghtas), the place of Jesus's Baptism.
The visit is carefully guided and allows ample time to experience the spiritual significance and historical importance of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After that, we continue towards the Dead Sea — the lowest point on Earth.
Upon arrival at the resort, you'll have free time to enjoy your first experience of its mineral-rich, hypersaline waters, renowned for their unique buoyancy and therapeutic properties.
